Diamonds Basketball Club is the principal girls/ women's club based in Winchester, drawing its players from Winchester, Basingstoke, Alton, Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh, Fareham and Southampton.

About Diamonds

The club is well established having been founded in 1988. Since then it has consistently been one of the top teams in local league basketball. See our competition history. 

We currently accommodate a wide range of ability levels. As well as having well established experienced players we have members who are still attending local schools whilst others have returned to the game after long layoffs.

We are always looking for enthusiastic players from 14 years upward to develop a future squad.

The club has,  since 1995  had the same two dedicated coaches whose efforts have given Diamonds the reputation of being one of the top teams historically in both the Wessex and Solent areas.

End of an era……

2010/11 Season

This season was the best ever for Diamonds due to repeating last seasons success in winning both the Solent League and Cup competitions plus the Wessex Cup  competition. Diamonds players represented SABA

Five Diamonds players plus two from Southampton Uni. represented SABA in this years Warrior Tournament held at the Aldershot Garrison Sports Centre on Sunday, 3rd April 2011.
